Starting in 2018, I came up with a concept to use old film negatives gathered from the Library of Congress to tell a story of what I see happening around me in society. Using the past to confront our future, I settled on the series name “The Ones Who Came Before”. Each year I work on one poster hoping that it will stand as a chronological collection of recent history through my eyes after five years.
