The concept of this photobook had been in the works for a few years.
Shooting film has always found a way into my creative process. With
Blur, I wanted to use intimate photos from my collection shot between
2014 - 2019 from a range of different places and times in my life. In 2020,
I decided to sort through hundreds of negatives and pull out some of
my fondest memories. With those selected, My goal was to pair collage
work & brush strokes in a way that broke up the traditional layout of
most photobooks seen today.
